I have a parcel due to be delivered. On Yodel's website status is 'Out for Delivery' at 07:20 this morning. But also 'Due to be delivered by Monday 28th'
I thought out for delivery would mean I can expect it today which would be good as I am home. But given that Yodal have a terrible reputation can I expect that they might not deliver today but Monday instead. Which would be annoying as I am at work
Any experiences or comments anyone?
What's the latest time they deliver?

With it being Yodel, anything can happen.
I think they're supposed to deliver up to 7pm but they'll pull any excuse out of the bag if your house takes them miles from home in their last hour...

Apparently they delivered a pair of shoes through my letterbox a few weeks ago, so yes - anything can happen with yodel!
I have known them to take two days to get a parcel to me!

Latest I've had a parcel off Yodel is around 9pm. (In Chelt too Paul555).
The poor bloke had been working since 5am and still had around 10 parcels to deliver, then had to drive back to the depot, offload returns, non-delivered items and collections, then paper work it all.
He told me it was the worst job he'd ever been in and that the rounds were way too big.
I'd be surprised if he's still there to be honest.

Probably why a lot of their drivers are quick to mark things as 'address not found' and move on... or worse...

The good news is that it's been delivered now. I wouldn't have been that surprised if it hadn't though. Guy looked pretty stressed and rebuffed any small talk!

It seem obvious that Yodel over work their drivers. I don't know why any company would use them.

Cost. I imagine they're cheap... I'm sure there's an ex driver on here who's stated that the drivers aren't the best paid, either

Yeah our local guy who lives a few streets down said it was like an avon job really, he started out on local then they wanted him driving 20miles out.. he has started dog walking now with his mini van, so good on him, was a good delivery guy in this area though! I only used him twice I think through Very..yeah the chest of drawers was delivered directly from the suppliers and was bang on, apart from very who did not tell them I was top tenement!

I'm currently in an 'Out for delivery...' situation.
I have so many things I could be getting on with if i didn't have to sit around waiting for this parcel, which, according to tracking, took five days to get between depots.
It's already 6 days late. The van has been up this road twice that I've noticed today.
I won't order anything from a company that uses Yodel again.

Don't blame you, they're the absolute pits.
I always try and go with DPD if I get the option, they give you an actual time slot on the morning of delivery...and you get to follow the van on a map, very exciting!

Have you ever tried contacting them?!!! If you need to get in touch with them for any reason that good luck, it's near impossible to speak to anyone. Any numbers online or on the cards they leave through your door are just automated numbers.

There's a bit of a backlog at the moment which doesn't help I know
I've had deliveries from Yodel quite late though so no need to worry yet

Ooh, I would find that a nice little feature while I'm waiting for my parcel.
I'm in a bit of a gal who cried wolf type scenario because my parcel did come this afternoon.
Not via Yodel van, but by a lady in a silver hatchback.
Still going to avoid Yodel though.
I know it's Xmas, but five days for a journey that takes less than three hours is pretty ridiculous at any time of the year.
I'm not even going to give leeway for the fact the five days included a weekend, harsh, I know.
I am glad that their tracking was so informative though, because I know it was their fault for the delay rather than the seller.
