Players who decided to focus their characters on spell casting can choose between a variety of offensive, defensive and support spells (magic) in Sorcery, Pyromancy or Miracles. At the start, these types of characters will have access to only a few spells and that will make their gameplay pretty hard.Later in the game, when you get access to many spells and high stats, things will become considerably easier. In this guide, we’ll show you how to equip spells and which items you’ll need.

Dark Souls 3 Best Magic
Before you can use any spell, you’ll need an appropriate item. Miracles can only be used by equipping Talismans or Chimes; for Sorcery, you’ll need Staff or Catalyst, and Pyromancies can be cast by equipping Flames.Magic in Dark Souls is covered on this page. To use any kind of Magic, the player will first have to learn a spell, and equip a Catalyst that corresponds to the spell's Magic class. After the spell is learned, it must be equipped at a Bonfires with the Attune Magic option. A spell has a set amount of uses, before it is depleted.
